We're pleased to announce that Grand Theft Auto Vice City is finally released!

GOAL

Our main goal is to keep the Vice City vibe, therefore we're carefully adjusting and implementing new features - avoiding incongruity. If you were to juxtapose the original game and Vanilla Remastered you'd clearly be able to see a difference that does not affect current mood of the game.

What are the some new features? 😁
This modification contains a set of extensions that push the limits of original Vice City. Some of the features are:

Allowing free camera movement inside a vehicle.
Ped speech (makes Tommy & other peds more talkative - alike PS2 release)
Cursor will now only stay on the primary monitor (silenetpatch)
Features all of recent silenet patches (various bugfixes and performance tweaks).
Features a reflection fix.
SweetFX.
New radar.
.. and much more!

VRService
Vanilla Remastered Service is a plugin that keeps track of user numbers.
Minimal requirements: GTA Vice City 1.0 US or GTA Vice City 1.1 EU

Using Vanilla Remastered we do collect user data such as but limited such as your motherboards identification number, your generic user account identity. We do not resell, release, or use the collected data in any malicious intent but for support purposes and user data logging. The sole intent is to be able to provide better assistance in not only assisting you but also informing others how many others also favor our delightful modpack.

If, for whatever reason, you wish to delete your data from our service, feel free to private message me with your Windows computer name.

To download the Vanilla Remastered VC simply click on the following link: here
Installation
It is recommended to install this on a clean game! In order to install, simply extract everything from the zipped archive to your game directory (root directory)

Troubleshooting ⚙️

(1) But my Windows says that it is a virus! 📖

No it is not. We assure you that everything inside the archive doesn't contain any malicious code and therefore is safe. We're transparent when it comes to our services. The service (vc_service.asi) is open sourced on Github and can be viewed by clicking on: here

(2) Modification doesn't load!

If you have already installed modloader and you're already using some modloader mods then this should not be a problem for you. But in case you're not please download following patch here and extract it to the root directory.
